Formed from ruin and sanctified in secrecy, Sanguis Vetus is more than a ring — it is a blood-bound echo of a house long fallen.

Once the buckle of a Victorian belt — stiff with formality, this fragment has been torn from its time, reforged in defiance.

Sanguis Vetus is not merely repurposed; it is resurrected. The ornate Baroque style scrollwork that once spoke of propriety now howls with something older, darker.

The silver bears the scars of its past: pitted, oxidised, and unrepentant. The buckle that once restrained has become a ring that resists.

Crafted entirely from 100% recycled silver — with the same quality and purity as newly mined metal — this ring carries both history and intention. It's rugged, post-apocalyptic texture is melted, eroded, and oxidised by hand to reveal a deeply tactile, elemental surface.

Assayed in Birmingham in 1899, this piece began life as a belt buckle — crafted by Britton Gould & Co., silversmiths of quiet distinction.

Now fully hallmarked: AWTS (Away With The Spoon), 925 sterling silver, the lion passant, Sheffield Assay Office, date letter A for 2025.
