We also feature an extensive collection by Dirty Velvet, a design collective, focused on producing high quality clothing with designs that offer a creatively different perspective to the mainstream.

Hi, I’m Helly, the founder of Impressarum. I spent my early childhood growing up in Windermere in the seventies (telling you all my age here!) This gave me a love for the Lake District that’s never faded, no matter where in the world I’ve found myself living. Impressarum designs all have a subtle distressed effect, giving a nod to that seventies feel — relaxed, timeless, and full of character.

Sterling silver statement jewellery with repurposed attitude, designed and handcrafted by Helly Baynham.

Each one-of-a-kind piece is recycled and up-cycled from antique sterling silver with a history, a story, a connection with the past — often Victorian Gothic.

Much of the collection is oxidised to highlight texture and create a bold, dark aesthetic. These designs have lavish weight, notable proportions, and aren’t afraid to be seen and heard!
