This striking necklace is re-crafted from antique & vintage silver elements. A bold figaro style chain with an Edwardian cross featuring the name Jessie and the date April 9th 1905. Together with a Victorian padlock, dated 1900 and a couple of interesting wishbone charms. Wishbone symbolism is rooted in luck, hope, and wishes, stemming from ancient traditions where people would break the bone in hopes of their wish coming true.

Designed to evoke the sentiment of Victorian watch chains and charms of protection. It carries the soul of something long kept and long cherished.

The chain length is 17" with a toggle clasp at the front. The longest drop to the bottom of the cross is a further 7".

Weight 31g.

Along with original hallmarks, the piece is also now fully hallmarked:

  • AWTS (Away With The Spoon)

  • Lion Passant

  • Sheffield Assay Office

  • A for 2025
