This is a solid sterling 925 silver hallmarked antique Edwardian butter knife. Sizes V - X. Hand-shaped into a ring by heating, hammering and bending the blade and handle. Re-crafted from a solid silver butter knife. Hallmarked makers Joseph Rogers & Sons, Sheffield 1903. There are some light surface scratches and a slight patina, to be expected on antique silver items which have been carefully used and well cared for. The ring is not made from a brand new piece of silver - any scratches and signs of wear add to it's character ;-) Being hand-crafted, this ring may not be as perfectly round as a mass produced machine made ring might be. This does not affect the fit or loveliness of the ring at all! Supplied in a fabric drawstring bag. N.B. The ring on the model in the last photo is a different design but a very similar style.
