Jennens 1878

Sterling silver antique rare & beautiful large cross, hallmarked makers Joseph Adelman, Birmingham 1887. Together with an antique puffed heart and large hook, hallmarked makers Joseph Jennens & Co., Birmingham 1878.

The necklace is now also fully hallmarked AWTS (Away with the spoon,) 925, the lion passant, Sheffield Assay office and A for 2025.

Large link chain & part vintage chain. Whole chain measures 19" in length + 3.5" drop with cross.

Cross measures 3.9cm in length (without bale.)

There are some light surface scratches and a patina, to be expected on antique silver items which have been carefully used and well cared for. The puffed heart is ever so slightly squashed, but hardly noticeable. The necklace is not made from a brand new pieces of silver, any scratches and signs of wear adds to it's character ;-)

Whole piece weighs 44g.
