Dragon

Solid sterling silver up cycled antique belt buckle depicting a dragon breathing fire, with a red / pink stone (possibly a pink tourmaline?) Hallmarked makers Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co. Ltd., London 1907. Together with a large, heavy fancy link antique chain, hallmarked makers Joseph Sewill, 1891 and also part of a vintage Albert chain. The chain in total measures 14.5" and is a choker style (see photos.)

There are some light surface scratches and slight patina, to be expected on antique and vintage silver items which have been carefully used and well cared for.... I don't like to over polish the silver as it's antique, it's much better deeper and richer looking with a patina!!! The necklace is not made from brand new pieces of silver, any scratches and signs of wear adds to it's character ;-)
