Sheffield 1967(5)

This is a solid sterling 925 silver hallmarked vintage coffee spoon. Sizes M - U.

Hand-shaped into a ring by heating, hammering and bending the bowl and handle.
Re-crafted from a solid silver spoon with a shell design handle, with added silver sprinkles. Hallmarked makers MDQ, Sheffield 1967, although the original hallmark has been hidden under the tail end of the spoon as it has been wrapped around - it is now hallmarked with my AWTS (Away With The Spoon) hallmark, 925, the rose (Sheffield Assay Office,) lion passant (for sterling silver,) Z (for the year 2024.)
There are some light surface scratches, to be expected on vintage silver items which have been carefully used and well cared for. The ring is not made from a brand new piece of silver, any scratches and signs of wear add to it's character ;-) Being hand-crafted, this ring may not be as perfectly round as a mass produced machine made ring might be. This does not affect the fit or loveliness of the ring at all!
