A stunning Victorian silver coin purse, hallmarked makers Colen Hewer Cheshire, Birmingham 1888. Measuring approximately 34 x 45mm, it bears intricate hand-engraved designs on both sides, with an empty cartouche and a leather interior that whispers of another age. In beautiful condition.

Lovingly revived from its slumber, I’ve coaxed it back to life — Tenderly working out the old indentations to restore its form. Faint impressions still remain, ghosts of its long history, barely discernible yet full of character. — but that’s where its soul lies.

Suspended from an adjustable brown suede thong, it can be tied close to the throat as a choker or worn lower, letting it swing and catch the light. Either way, it carries an air of dark romance — a relic reborn, with stories still to tell.
