Designer: Away with the spoon
This is a beautiful antique Victorian sterling silver knife blade, complemented with a paperclip style chain and large hand crafted hook clasp.
The length of the whole necklace is 20".
The knife blade is fully hallmarked makers John Gilbert, Birmingham 1863.
There are some light surface scratches, to be expected on antique silver items which have been carefully used and well cared for, and the blade is not completely straight.
The whole piece has been oxidised to make the design stand out.
Supplied in a fabric drawstring bag and with a Change of Use Certificate from the Sheffield Assay Office (a legal requirement.).
