This is a solid sterling 925 silver hallmarked antique tablespoon. Size P. Hand-shaped into an uber chunky heavy ring by hammering and bending the handle after the bowl of the spoon has been taken off. Re-crafted from a beautiful solid silver spoon. Hallmarked makers Wakely & Wheeler, London 1892. There are some light surface scratches and slight patina, to be expected on antique silver items which have been carefully used and well cared for. The ring is not made from a brand new piece of silver. Any scratches and signs of wear add to it's character ;-) Being hand-crafted, this ring may not be as perfectly round as a mass produced machine made ring might be. This does not affect the fit or loveliness of the ring at all! Supplied with a pretty fabric drawstring bag & with a Change of Use Certificate from the Sheffield Assay Office, a legal requirement.
