Solid sterling silver antique Edwardian Vesta case, hallmarked makers Henry Griffith, Chester 1904, (measuring 45mm x 37mm excluding bale.) Together with an antique large & heavy trombone chain, hallmarked makers Joseph Sewill of Liverpool, Birmingham 1897, with lion passants on every link. Plus part of another vintage Albert chain, hallmarked with a lion passant on each link, (although hallmarks very worn.) Whole chain measuring 14" in length + 1.5" drop to Vesta. There is also a beautiful Art Nouveau style button hallmarked makers James Deakin & Sons, Chester 1901, (measuring 21mm x 21mm.)
There are some light surface scratches and a patina, to be expected on antique & vintage silver items which have been carefully used and well cared for. The necklace is not made from a brand new pieces of silver, any scratches and signs of wear adds to it's character ;-)
