This is a solid sterling (925) silver hallmarked antique salt spoon, re-crafted into a pinky or "midi" ring by hammering and bending the spoon into shape. Sizes H, I or J. Hallmarked makers John Gilbert, Birmingham 1887. There are some surface scratches and a slight patina, to be expected on antique silver items which have been carefully used and well cared for. The ring is not made from a brand new piece of silver, any scratches and signs of wear add to it's character ;-) Being hand-crafted, this ring may not be as perfectly round as a mass produced machine made ring might be. This does not affect the fit or loveliness of the ring at all! Supplied in a fabric drawstring bag.
