An antique sterling silver hallmarked collection of Albert chains c1918, complemented with a round vesta case (measuring 43mm diameter) and a vintage heart padlock.
The necklace is 19" in length + an extra 2" drop.
The whole piece is in very good condition for it's age.
The chains all have the lion passant, although on one of the smaller chains most have completely rubbed off. The T-bar is hallmarked makers Henry Pope, 1918.
The vesta case is Constantine & Floyd Ltd. of Caroline Street and is hallmarked Birmingham 1906. It opens and shuts securely but has a couple of very slight dents on the front and more pronounced dents on the reverse. Please see photos, (these some up in some lights more than others, as seen in photos.) These do not spoil the overall look and feel of the piece... I always love a few dents... adds to the character of the piece and shows it has been loved over the years!
There are some light surface scratches and a patina, to be expected on antique silver items which have been carefully used and well cared for. The necklace is not made from brand new pieces of silver.
Supplied in a fabric drawstring bag.
