This is a solid sterling 925 silver hallmarked vintage soup spoon. Size S.

Hand-shaped into a beautiful long chunky ring by heating, hammering and bending the bowl and handle.
Re-crafted from a solid silver spoon with added silver sprinkles, then oxidised to let the sprinkles stand out. Added adornment of a rose cut amethyst at a slightly jaunty angle! Hallmarked makers Frank Cobb & Co., 1933, although the original hallmark has been hidden under the tail end of the spoon as it has been wrapped around - it is now hallmarked with my AWTS (Away With The Spoon) hallmark, 925, the rose (Sheffield Assay Office,) lion passant (for sterling silver) and Z (for the year 2024.)
There are some light surface scratches, to be expected on vintage silver items which have been carefully used and well cared for. The ring is not made from a brand new piece of silver, any scratches and signs of wear add to it's character ;-) Being hand-crafted, this ring may not be as perfectly round as a mass produced machine made ring might be. This does not affect the fit or loveliness of the ring at all!
