Sampson Marks 1905

Solid sterling silver antique round vesta case, hallmarked makers Sampson Marks & Co., Birmingham 1905. Together with 2 antique fancy & an antique portraiture pendant. Whole chain measuring 16" in length + 1" drop. The trombone chain has lion passants on every link, although quite worn. The fancy Albert chain is hallmarked Standard (which stands for Standard 925 sterling silver) on the T-bar & clip and also marked SS (for Sterling Silver) on the 1st link.
There are some light surface scratches and a patina, to be expected on antique silver items which have been carefully used and well cared for. The vesta case has a few slight dents but nothing too bad, (see photos.) The necklace is not made from a brand new pieces of silver, any scratches and signs of wear adds to it's character ;-)

Whole piece weighs 58g.
